A 68 page annual report for Drexel's College of Engineering.
This report was printed using 5 colors and a tinted spot varnish.
This was the first time the College of Engineering produced an annual report for the entire college.
The left page features metallic ink and spot varnish.
Each department was color coded with standardized information.
Smithworks worked with each department to gain buy-in and succeeded with all-around positive feedback.
Smithworks was asked to redesign parts of the website template for the College of Engineering before it went live.
DREXEL UNIVERSITY
Since 1891, Drexel University has emphasized strengths in engineering, science and technology to train men and women to become leaders. The College of Engineering is comprised of six departments, which represent cutting-edge disciplines in the field.
Communicating the success of the University’s Engineering program as well as news and milestones within each department during the ’08 – ’09 year was a task assigned to Smithworks. The six-month process resulted in a refined annual for the College of Engineering and extra recognition for its Dean.
“At the Dean’s meeting, apparently one Dean handed it to his PR/Marketing person and said “Just change the name on that report to our college and send it out!”
The well-received book is opening doors for current projects including website design, and additional annuals for other departments and colleges within Drexel University.
